Cucumber variety ALI BABA is a fast-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid with female flowering type, characterized by a short maturation period — from seedlings to fruiting, it takes 38-46 days. The plant is strong-growing and moderately branched, ensuring good development and high yield. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation both in plastic greenhouses and in open ground, making it a versatile choice for various growing conditions.

The fruits of this cucumber are cylindrical, 10-14 cm long and 3.0-3.5 cm in diameter, with each fruit weighing 120-140 g. They have a vibrant green color with frequent medium-sized bumps and white hairs, giving them an attractive appearance. Due to their flavor qualities, ALI BABA cucumbers are ideal for making fresh salads, as well as for pickling and marinating.

For successful cultivation, it is recommended to sow seedlings in late April, followed by transplanting into the ground at the 3-4 true leaf stage in late May — early June. Direct sowing in the greenhouse is optimal in May. Planting spacing is 50x50 cm. The hybrid is resistant to major cucumber diseases, reducing the need for frequent protective treatments. The crop requires warmth, moisture, and fertile soil, responds well to organic and mineral fertilizers, and sowing should be done when soil temperature reaches 10-12 °C.
