The Ryegrass variety «MODUN» is the result of years of research and breeding under the conditions of Yakutia, where climatic features require special plant resilience to cold and short growing seasons. Developed on the fields of Nem'yuginsky ulus, it combines high productivity and adaptation to harsh northern conditions.
«MODUN» is distinguished by excellent frost resistance and the ability to root quickly even at low soil temperatures. Thanks to this, the variety ensures a stable yield of fodder for livestock, improving its quality and nutritional value. An important role is also played by high resistance to diseases and pests, which reduces the need for chemical protection.
The variety is actively used both in agriculture and in seed production: it undergoes state variety trials and is recognized as suitable for seed production. Thanks to its versatility, «MODUN» is suitable not only for fodder purposes but can also be used as an ornamental plant when planting mixed fields with other fodder crops, such as Sudan grass, sunflower, or beet.
