LIDER G is a diploid species of feather grass that features an upright bush and short stem. The leaves are lanceolate in shape and a rich green color, while the inflorescences are loose and light gray in shade. The seeds are narrow-lanceolate and light gray, ensuring good mass during harvesting.
The variety is characterized by high hay yield - from 6.7 to 14 c/ha, while seed productivity is 1.5-1.6 kg/ha. Thanks to drought resistance and heat tolerance, LIDER G can successfully grow under conditions of limited irrigation and high temperatures. The perennial nature of the plant allows it to be used as fodder for several years without the need for replanting.
Lider G is resistant to pests, diseases, as well as stem rust and smut, which reduces the need for chemical protection. The bush is powerful, leaves are dark green, the ear is awl-shaped with a width of 1-2.5 cm and a length of up to 6.5 cm. The plant is undemanding, withstands frost, drought, fires and even flooding with water for a month, which makes it an ideal choice for a fodder crop in various climatic conditions.
