UNI4417

Corn UNI4417 is a high-quality mid-late maturity hybrid with FAO 420 maturity group, intended for grain use. This hybrid features a dent kernel type and semi-rectangular plant type, ensuring good adaptability and stability. Plant height reaches 270-320 cm, and ear attachment height is 110-140 cm. Each ear forms 16 to 20 rows of kernels, with 32 to 40 kernels per row, and 1000-kernel weight is 300-320 g.

UNI4417 exhibits high cold tolerance and resistance to root and stalk lodging, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including zones with unstable and sufficient moisture, as well as irrigated lands. The hybrid is recommended for monoculture and no-till technology, which helps preserve soil structure and reduce tillage costs. The optimal soil temperature for sowing is 9 °C, and recommended seeding rates vary depending on moisture conditions: 45-50 thousand seeds per hectare in dry conditions to 60-70 thousand in well-watered conditions.

Corn UNI4417 consistently delivers high yields and performs well in various regions, including forest-steppe and Polissia. Grain moisture at harvest is approximately 14%, and yields vary from 7.4 to 15.5 t/ha depending on the region. The hybrid has good moisture shedding, high resistance to Fusarium and stalk rot, high initial growth energy, and drought tolerance, ensuring stability and adaptability in various agroclimatic conditions.
