Tibor

The hybrid maize Tibor is a mid-early grain variety with a vegetation period of 115-120 days and maturity group FAO 360. It is characterized by a dent kernel type and ear attachment height of 100-110 cm. The 1000-seed weight is approximately 370 grams, and the grain yield potential reaches 120-150 centners per hectare. This hybrid features intensive early growth and high resistance to lodging, ensuring stable yields even under challenging growing conditions. Tibor exhibits high tolerance to major maize diseases, including southern and common rust, helminthosporium, and fusarium, confirmed by high resistance ratings (7-8 points). Selected from top foreign hybrids, it is adapted to various climatic zones in Ukraine and demonstrates stability under stress conditions. Additionally, the hybrid has a good balance between the digestibility of nutrients in green mass and starch content, making it attractive for grain production. The hybrid Tibor also responds well to modern cultivation technologies and herbicide protection, confirmed by its inclusion in breeding programs and demonstration fields. High resistance to pests such as corn borer and excellent phytosanitary status make it a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality maize yields.
