Hybrid corn P9903 is a mid-late maturing hybrid with dent kernel type, intended for high-quality grain production. It is characterized by high yield, reaching level 9 on the evaluation scale, and belongs to the maturity group with FAO index 390. This hybrid exhibits stability and good adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions, enabling successful cultivation across the entire territory of Ukraine. Seeds are supplied in batches of 5 planting units, each containing 80,000 seeds, additionally treated for protection against stalk diseases and other diseases associated with monoculture. P9903 has high water shedding capacity and excellent drought tolerance, making it effective in utilizing available moisture. The hybrid is resistant to diseases such as helminthosporiosis, blister and glume rust, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses. Recommended planting density depends on moisture availability: 60-65 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture, and 55-60 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture. However, the hybrid is not suitable for minimum tillage or late harvest, which should be considered when planning agronomic practices. For maximum efficiency, corn P9903 should be planted and harvested within optimal timing and on good agrofond. The hybrid is suitable for monoculture cultivation, simplifying agronomic processes. Due to its characteristics and stress resistance, P9903 is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high and stable corn grain yields.
