Tiberius corn is an early-maturing hybrid with a high yield potential of up to 180 centners per hectare. The plants feature a strong root system, ensuring good resistance to lodging and root diseases. The height of the corn plant is 240-260 cm, and the ear attachment height is 90-100 cm. The ear structure consists of 16-18 rows of kernels, with 36-38 kernels per row, totaling 560-672 kernels per ear. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 260 to 300 g. The optimal plant density at harvest is 70-75 thousand plants per hectare.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to various diseases and adverse conditions: lodging resistance is rated at 9 points, resistance to helminthosporiosis and powdery mildew at 8 points, resistance to fusarium at 9 points, and cold and drought resistance at 7 points. Due to these characteristics, Tiberius is suitable for cultivation both for grain and silage.
This hybrid is distinguished by high adaptability and stable yield, making it attractive to farmers aiming for high-quality and abundant harvests. Early maturity allows for quick production, while the strong root system and disease resistance ensure reliable cultivation under various climatic conditions.
