Description Tesei
Corn Tesei is a mid-early hybrid selection of MAIS, intended for grain production. This variety is characterized by rapid growth in early development stages and high yield potential, ranging from 115 to 135 centners per hectare. Plants reach an average height of 220-230 cm, do not bush out, and ears have a weakly conical shape, 18-22 cm long, with 16-18 rows of kernels, each row containing 37-39 kernels. Kernels are dent-shaped, yellow in color, with a 1000-kernel weight of 280-290 grams, and a milling yield of 83-85%. Hybrid Tesei exhibits high resistance to various stress factors and diseases. It possesses high cold tolerance (rating 9), drought resistance (8), fusarium resistance (9), lodging resistance (9), head smut resistance (9), and stalk borer resistance (8). These traits make it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions in Ukraine, ensuring stable and high yields. The recommended planting density for corn Tesei depends on moisture conditions: under insufficient moisture, the optimal density is 60-70 thousand plants per hectare, and under sufficient moisture, it is 75-80 thousand plants per hectare. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptability, this hybrid is an effective solution for farmers seeking high-quality grain with high yields.
