Tervy — a medium-maturing corn hybrid for grain production by MAIS, registered in 2019. This hybrid has a FAO rating of 270 and is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe. Tervy is characterized by high yield potential up to 140 centners per hectare under favorable conditions, as well as good ecological stability and adaptability to different growing conditions. The grain is dent-shaped, yellow, with a 1000-grain weight ranging from 280 to 295 grams and a milling yield of 83–87%. The hybrid Tervy exhibits high resistance to stress factors and diseases: drought resistance is rated 8 out of 10, cold resistance — 9 out of 10, lodging resistance — 8 out of 10, resistance to Fusarium and corn borer — 9 out of 10, and resistance to smut diseases — 8 out of 10. Due to its rapid moisture release during maturation, harvesting becomes more efficient. The hybrid's remontant nature allows it to respond well to improved growing conditions, contributing to stable high yields. Additionally, Tervy corn is available as non-GMO sweet corn with high nutritional value: 100 grams of the product contain 117 kcal, 4.5 g of fat, 37.2 g of carbohydrates, 29.9 g of dietary fiber, and 11.2 g of protein. The product is supplied in a 0.4 kg polyethylene bag and requires storage at temperatures not exceeding -18°C without repeated freezing. Corn can be used as a side dish or main course, boiled or stewed, without prior thawing.
