Tessali CS

Tessali CS — a mid-season spring corn hybrid developed by Caussade Semences. The plant reaches a height of about 245 cm, with ear attachment height of approximately 105 cm. The hybrid features dent-type kernels, with 18 rows and 28 kernels per row. The 1000-kernel weight is approximately 269 grams, indicating large kernel size. The hybrid’s yield potential reaches 126.5–129.5 centners per hectare, ensuring a stable and high yield under various growing conditions.

The Tessali CS hybrid is characterized by high resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases and adverse factors. It exhibits resistance to lodging in early growth stages and at harvest, as well as high resistance to diseases such as helminthosporiosis, blister and powdery mildew, fusarium, and corn smut. Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates good drought and cold tolerance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine and other regions.

Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture conditions: in dry areas — 65–70 thousand plants per hectare, in areas with adequate moisture — 75–85 thousand, and with irrigation — up to 100 thousand plants per hectare. Thanks to its morphological and agronomic characteristics, as well as high phytosanitary resistance, the Tessali CS hybrid ensures stable early growth, effective development, and high productivity, making it a profitable and reliable choice for farmers.
