Description SY Tiptop
SY Tiptop — a mid-season corn hybrid with a FAO index of 340, intended for grain use. It is characterized by high yield potential and is adapted for cultivation in forest-steppe and Polissia regions. The hybrid has a dent kernel type with protein content of 10-11% and starch content of 72.2-73.8%, ensuring high grain quality. Kernel density is approximately 718 g/l. Growth rates are high during early development stages, and the grain quickly loses excess moisture upon maturation, reducing post-harvest drying costs.

One of the key features of SY Tiptop is its high resistance to diseases such as stalk and root rot, as well as ear mold (scurf). Plants remain upright throughout the entire vegetation period and retain their quality even after prolonged field storage following maturity. The hybrid tolerates moderate drought stress well due to its strong stalk, enabling it to withstand extended delays without yield loss.

To achieve optimal yield, it is recommended to follow specific planting rates: 60-70 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture conditions, and 55-60 thousand per hectare under unstable moisture conditions. SY Tiptop demonstrates high return on investment under intensive cultivation and irrigation technologies, making it an advantageous choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality corn harvest.
