Síd 357 MV

Síd 357 MV is a mid-season corn hybrid with FAO 330, featuring new dent genetics that ensure high yield potential under various growing conditions. This hybrid efficiently uses water thanks to the Waterlock technology, allowing the plant to withstand limited irrigation and maximize available moisture. Rapid dry-down reduces drying costs and preserves profitability, making this variety economically advantageous for farmers.

The plants of this hybrid have a low stature, dent-type kernels with 16-18 rows and 28-32 kernels per row. Flowering occurs at a sum of active temperatures around 920 °C, and reaching kernel maturity at 35% moisture requires 1820 °C. For silage with 32% dry matter, 1520 °C is needed. Recommended planting density depends on moisture conditions: 70-75 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient irrigation, and 60-65 thousand/ha under unstable conditions.

The hybrid demonstrates high agronomic performance: initial growth, drought and lodging resistance are rated 7-8 out of 9, and dry-down is rated 8 out of 9. Disease tolerance is also high: resistance to helminthosporium, stalk and ear fusarium varies from 5 to 8 out of 9, ensuring reliable cultivation across various climatic conditions. Seeds are treated with Redigo, Fewer and ForceZea, which additionally protects plants and promotes successful development.
