Sidoriv 251 MV — a mid-early maturity corn hybrid with FAO maturity group 280, intended for grain production. The vegetative period ranges from 91 to 105 days, with flowering occurring between 65 to 70 days. Kernel type is dent, kernel color is yellow with a red hull. The 1000-kernel weight is in the range of 250–290 g, and plant height reaches 220–300 cm, with ear attachment height of 100–130 cm. Average kernels per row is 39–43, and rows per ear are 12–16.

The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to adverse factors: stress tolerance is rated at 8 points, resistance to lodging — 9 points, drought tolerance — 8 points, and cold tolerance — 9 points. Additionally, Sidoriv 251 MV exhibits excellent resistance to various diseases, including lethal smut, rust, helmintosporiosis, stalk and root rot, as well as stalk borer. Seeds are treated with fungicides and insecticides, providing additional plant protection.

The potential yield of the hybrid under production conditions ranges from 8.0 to 12.1 tons per hectare, and reaches 12.8 tons per hectare on variety trial plots. The recommended planting density for harvest is 65–70 thousand plants per hectare in areas with sufficient moisture, and 60–65 thousand per hectare in areas with limited moisture. Due to its high moisture release and resistance to low temperatures, this hybrid is an optimal choice for early planting and allows for early harvest without additional drying costs.
