SY PHOTON

SY PHOTON corn is a high-yielding, intensive type hybrid suitable for cultivation as grain or silage. Its distinguishing feature is rapid drying, which facilitates timely harvest and reduces losses. The plants have an erect leaf arrangement, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency and promoting better crop development. Additionally, SY PHOTON is a Stay Green type hybrid, ensuring prolonged green mass retention and improved crop quality. The grain contains 9.0–10.1% protein and 71.8–73.1% starch, making it valuable for feed and food purposes.

SY PHOTON exhibits high resistance to adverse conditions and diseases. It possesses high cold tolerance (rating 9), drought resistance (8), as well as resistance to root and stalk rots (9) and common rust (9). Rapid drying (9) and high early growth rate (8) enable the hybrid to successfully adapt to various climatic conditions. Due to these qualities, SY PHOTON is well-suited for cultivation in Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polesie regions.

To achieve maximum yield, it is recommended to sow at optimal times when soil temperature reaches +9...12 °C at seed burial depth. The hybrid is suitable for repeated cultivation on the same field, facilitating monoculture management. Recommended plant density at harvest depends on moisture conditions: 70–80 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, 60–70 thousand under unstable conditions, and 45–55 thousand under insufficient moisture.
