Corn Tor is a high-yielding, mid-maturing hybrid with FAO 280, developed by VNILS for universal use as both grain and silage. This simple hybrid features rapid early growth, facilitating successful adaptation to various soil-climate conditions. Plant height reaches 260 cm, and ear attachment height is approximately 105 cm, ensuring significant biomass and high yield potential up to 15.8 t/ha with an average yield of 10.9 t/ha. The grain type is silico-toothed, which increases starch content and improves product quality.

Hybrid Tor exhibits high resistance to adverse environmental factors, including drought and cold, making it a reliable choice for cultivation across various agroclimatic zones. It demonstrates excellent resistance to diseases such as helminthosporiosis, fusarium, and powdery mildew, as well as high lodging resistance.
