PR 37 N 01 — this is a mid-season corn hybrid developed by Pioneer, distinguished by high yield and good adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions. The plant has medium height with leaves of medium width and slightly curved shape, providing optimal leaf angle relative to the stem. The ear is cylindrical, medium length and thickness, with a long stalk and many rows of kernels. The kernels are dent-shaped, yellow at the top. The vegetation period is approximately 108 days, corresponding to the average maturity date of the hybrid. The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to common corn diseases, including southern leaf blight, and also shows tolerance to stalk rot and ear fungal diseases. Despite significant damage from corn borer, the plant maintains stable productivity. PR 37 N 01 is characterized by high drought resistance and rapid moisture loss during ripening, enabling effective use under various agronomic conditions. The hybrid has good initial growth energy, which promotes successful plant development in early stages. The yield of the PR 37 N 01 hybrid averages 53.5 centners per hectare, with record yields of up to 92.6 centners per hectare in regions such as the Republic of Adygea and Krasnodar Krai. Grain moisture at harvest is approximately 21.5%, facilitating subsequent processing and storage. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation across all of Ukraine and the North Caucasus region, demonstrating stable and high productivity when recommended agronomic practices are followed.
