P 9025 is a mid-season three-line corn hybrid with intermediate grain type and FAO 330, exhibiting high adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions. The hybrid features good grain quality, high water shedding, and stable yield performance, making it suitable for grain, silage, and ethanol production. The grain yield potential ranges from 12 to 14 tons per hectare under conventional soil preparation.
Hybrid P 9025 shows high drought and disease resistance, including resistance to common and bubble smut, with a tolerance rating of up to 9 points on a nine-point scale. The recommended planting density under favorable conditions is 70-75 thousand plants per hectare, and 60-65 thousand plants per hectare under unfavorable conditions. To achieve maximum productivity, herbicide application after emergence and early planting are recommended.
P 9025 is well-suited for cultivation in forest-steppe and Polissia zones, and has demonstrated high yields in central and northern regions of Ukraine, including Vinnytsia, Poltava, Kirovohrad, and Kherson regions. The hybrid has compensatory ability for sparse planting and may exhibit uneven ear positioning by height, which does not reduce its overall productivity.
