The hybrid corn MAS 38 D is a mid-season agricultural crop intended for grain production. The plant exhibits medium-high or high stature, with toothed yellow kernels arranged in 14-16 rows of 32-38 kernels per ear. This hybrid possesses the Stay Green effect, which helps maintain green biomass and improves photosynthetic activity during maturation. The leaves are slightly curved, with a small angle between the leaf blade and stem, and the ear has medium or long length with short or medium shank. MAS 38 D is characterized by high yield, averaging 46.3 centners per hectare, with maximum yields reaching 74.6 centners per hectare under favorable conditions. The hybrid demonstrates high adaptability and resistance to hot continental climates, as well as rapid moisture release, facilitating harvest and reducing grain moisture to 22.4%. The recommended planting density is 80,000 plants per hectare under optimal conditions and 65,000 plants under unfavorable conditions. Corn MAS 38 D shows good resistance to several diseases, including southern gummy mildew, blister rust, and bacterial disease, as well as moderate resistance to ear fusarium. However, the plant may be susceptible to damage from corn stem borer. The hybrid is certified and meets quality standards, with FAO 330-340, making it a reliable choice for grain production under various climatic conditions.
