Description
KRAASNODARSKIY 621 MV — this is a very late-maturing corn hybrid, intended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region, particularly in the central and southern foothill zones of Krasnodar Krai. The plant is characterized by high stature and a complex four-row structure. The tassel flowering time of this hybrid occurs late, which is typical for late-maturing varieties. The tassel has a long main axis, forming a medium angle with lateral branches, and primary lateral branches are slightly curved and of medium length. The intensity of anthocyanin coloration of the silk is weak, which is one of the features of this hybrid. The ear is long, weakly conical with a short shank and colored stalk. The kernel is toothed, yellow in the upper part.
The hybrid is resistant to southern helminthosporiosis, significantly enhancing its reliability in the cultivation region. Additionally, it is lightly affected by bubble head, moderately affected by ear fusarium, and above average affected by bacterial disease. The average damage from corn borer is at a medium level. Thanks to its disease resistance and good adaptability to mechanical harvesting, KRAASNODARSKIY 621 MV is a profitable choice for farmers oriented towards grain production.
The vegetative period of the hybrid is about 125 days, corresponding to a late-maturing type. The 1000-kernel weight reaches 297 grams, indicating large kernel size and high yield quality. The average yield in the region ranges from 47.5 to 53.3 centners per hectare, exceeding standard indicators. These characteristics make KRAASNODARSKIY 621 MV a promising hybrid for achieving stable and high yields in the North Caucasus region.
