P 8904 — a mid-early hybrid corn with dent-type grain, intended for grain and silage production. Plants exhibit medium to high height with optimal ear attachment, ensuring good resistance to stalk and root lodging. The grain has a yellow coloration at the top and varies from yellow to orange at the bottom. The hybrid's vegetation period ranges from approximately 91-119 days depending on the growing region.

The hybrid demonstrates excellent water-use efficiency and high drought tolerance, enabling effective utilization of available soil moisture. P 8904 shows good tolerance to Helminthosporium and resistance to head diseases at level 7 out of 9. Due to these characteristics, as well as its suitability for monoculture and capability for cultivation under minimal soil tillage, the hybrid is suitable for various agronomic conditions.

It is recommended to sow P 8904 in early and optimal planting dates, with optimal plant density depending on moisture levels: 70-75 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture, and 65-70 thousand under insufficient moisture. The hybrid is not recommended for late harvest. Average grain yield varies by region and can reach from 42.4 to 69.2 centners per hectare, and for silage — up to 172 centners per hectare.
