Cornet corn is a high-yielding hybrid intended for grain use. It is characterized by early maturity and medium height, ensuring good grain moisture release and high resistance to lodging. The hybrid exhibits tolerance to imidazolin-based herbicides, facilitating weed control and improving the effectiveness of agronomic practices. Due to its high winter hardiness and drought resistance, Cornet is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including short rotation systems. The hybrid is resistant to major corn diseases such as helminthosporiosis, fusarium, and bacterial blight, promoting plant health and stable yields. Average yield is approximately 148.2 c/ha, with potential maximum yields reaching up to 272 c/ha under optimal conditions. A strong stalk and high resistance to stress factors ensure reliability and efficiency in intensive irrigated farming systems. Corn kernels of the Cornet hybrid are dent type, containing high starch (72.2-73.8%) and protein (10-11%) levels, making them valuable for grain purposes. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: 60-70 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, 55-60 thousand plants under unstable conditions.
