Maize MITODOS

Reliable performance with Mitodos

Selecting seeds is about finding the right balance between yield and risk management. The three-way cross hybrid "Mitodos" by Saaten-Union stands out as a testament to German breeding excellence.

Plant Health and Field Resilience

The biggest benefit of choosing Mitodos is the peace of mind it provides regarding crop health. Having a hybrid that possesses inherent strength against major pathogens is a massive advantage in any crop rotation program.

Practical Agronomic Advantages

• Versatile Application: With a FAO rating of 90–1240, this hybrid is extremely adaptable. It is equally efficient for producing silage with high energy content and for grain production with good dry-down characteristics.
• Uniform Establishment: The three-way cross structure ensures consistent germination and even crop development. This uniformity makes field management tasks—such as weed control or fertilizer application—much more efficient because the crop stays at the same growth stage across the field.
• Harvest Efficiency: The plant structure is robust, with a strong root system that keeps the crop standing tall, significantly reducing harvest losses and making combine operations smoother.

From an operational standpoint, Mitodos is remarkably low-maintenance. It responds very well to intensive nutrient management, yet it remains productive even under moderate fertility conditions. It is a workhorse that rewards good management without demanding constant intervention. For those looking for the precision of German breeding in their fields, this hybrid is a top-tier choice that ensures every hectare reaches its maximum potential.
