Description P7043
Pioneer P7043 corn seeds are an early-maturing hybrid with FAO 160, featuring dent kernel type and high starch content. This hybrid exhibits excellent drought tolerance, making it one of the most resilient in its maturity group. Due to its rapid moisture release upon physiological maturity, P7043 grain ensures effective maturation and simplifies harvest.

The P7043 hybrid is well-adapted to high planting densities, but performs less effectively under sparse planting conditions. It is resistant to several fungal diseases, including southern leaf blight, common rust, and head fumagoid, and shows moderate resistance to bacterial blight. Due to these characteristics, P7043 is recommended for cultivation on fields with high risk of fungal diseases, where other hybrids may show less stable performance.

P7043 is recommended for monoculture planting with optimal or late planting dates. The hybrid demonstrates good early growth and is suitable for various soil-climatic conditions. To achieve maximum yield, follow the recommended planting density: 65-70 thousand plants per hectare under unfavorable conditions and 80-90 thousand under favorable conditions. Also, apply post-emergence herbicides according to crop development stages.
