Maize MAS 37V

The MAS 37V corn hybrid is a mid-maturing variety suitable for cultivation as grain or silage. It has a dent kernel type, ensuring high product quality. Plants are tall with medium ear height, facilitating harvesting and promoting good yield development. The hybrid requires approximately 1850 growing degree days to reach full maturity, and about 940 degree days from germination to flowering, which is important to consider when planning planting.

MAS 37V exhibits high resistance to adverse conditions and diseases. It demonstrates excellent drought tolerance, high lodging resistance, and good water shedding. Among diseases, the hybrid is resistant to common smut, ear fusarium, and ear rot, ensuring stable yields and reducing the risk of losses. Additionally, the plant possesses the STAY GREEN trait, which helps maintain green mass for a longer period and improves silage quality.

The yield potential of the MAS 37V hybrid reaches up to 17 tons of grain per hectare under optimal growing conditions. Recommended planting density varies depending on the moisture zone: approximately 70,000 plants per hectare in adequately moist zones, and about 60,000 in less moist zones. The hybrid is well-adapted to cultivation in the Polissia and Forest-steppe regions, making it a versatile choice for farmers aiming to achieve high and stable yields of grain and silage.
