KRAZNOARSKIY 377 AMV — medium-maturing first-generation corn hybrid with FAO 370, intended for cultivation in the North Caucasus and Lower Volga regions. The vegetation period is 114–115 days, allowing the hybrid to successfully complete its development cycle under these regional conditions. Plants reach a height of 260–270 cm, with ear attachment height of 110–120 cm and 18–19 leaves on the main stem. Leaves are broad, curved, with a medium angle between leaf blade and stem, promoting good photosynthesis and plant development. The ear is of medium length and thickness, with toothed yellow kernels in the upper part. The hybrid is characterized by high yield and resistance to adverse conditions. The maximum grain yield in the North Caucasus region reached 109.1 centners per hectare, with an average grain yield of 50.5 centners per hectare, which is 9.8% higher than standard indicators. In the Lower Volga region, the average grain yield was 39.5 centners per hectare with an increase of 5.0% over the standard. The hybrid demonstrates good drought resistance and responsiveness to favorable growing conditions. Grain moisture at harvest varies from 26.6% to 31.5%, facilitating mechanized harvesting and subsequent processing. KRAZNOARSKIY 377 AMV exhibits resistance to several diseases, including common smut and southern gummy mold, with weak infection by common smut and moderate resistance to ear rot. However, the hybrid is susceptible to bacterial ear rot and Fusarium ear rot, as well as severe damage from corn borer. The recommended plant population is 75–80 thousand plants per hectare, promoting optimal development and maximum productivity. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, this hybrid is suitable for cultivation both for grain and silage, ensuring stable and high yields.
