Stable yields through early maturity

French breeding by RAGT traditionally focuses on the balance between growth rates and phytosanitary safety. The RAGT «RЖТ Alix» hybrid is a precise tool for agronomists aiming to mitigate the risks of late harvesting while ensuring stable yields with optimized fungicide inputs.

The hybrid's phytosanitary shield

The core value of «RЖТ Alix» lies in its inherent resistance to major pathogens that limit corn yields. In intensive farming systems where crop rotation increases the risk of fungal pressure, this hybrid consistently demonstrates:

• Fusarium resistance: Minimizing grain storage losses and mycotoxin accumulation.
• Smut protection: High resistance against both common and head smut, which is critical for maintaining ear integrity during the ripening stage.

Agronomic sowing recommendations

The early maturity of «RЖТ Alix» makes it an ideal choice for farms planning to clear fields early to prepare for winter crop sowing. When determining plant density, regional moisture availability should be the deciding factor:

• 65,000–70,000 plants/ha: The optimal range for moisture-stressed regions, allowing plants to develop ears fully without excessive competition.
• 70,000–75,000 plants/ha: Recommended density for areas with sufficient moisture, where «RЖТ Alix» maximizes its yield potential.

By choosing this hybrid, producers gain predictable performance: fast grain moisture dry-down and high tolerance to environmental stress, creating a more flexible and cost-effective harvesting strategy.
