Pea ALLA

Stable yields with minimal effort

The «Alla» pea variety is a specialized development by the Federal Research Center for Legumes and Grops, designed to minimize risks in unstable climatic conditions. The main feature of this variety is its leafless (semi-leafless/tendrilled) plant type. Under field conditions, this provides a critical advantage: the plants interlock securely, creating a stable "framework" that resists lodging even during periods of heavy rainfall.

Disease resistance and agronomic efficiency

For any grower, fighting pathogens means extra costs for fungicides. "Alla" demonstrates high resistance to a complex of diseases most dangerous for legumes, such as anthracnose, ascochyta blight, and root rot. This allows for a reduction in the pesticide burden on crops while maintaining yield potential.

• Vegetation period: 90–100 days. The variety fits well into medium maturity timelines, which simplifies harvest scheduling.
• 1000-seed weight: 220–240 grams. Large, well-filled grains ensure excellent marketability and product quality.
• Crop type: The semi-leafless morphology allows for direct combining, which significantly reduces grain loss during harvesting.

Who should choose "Alla"? This variety is ideal for farms focusing on technology and cost reduction in plant protection. It is a reliable choice for those seeking high-adaptability seeds. "Alla" requires minimal intervention regarding chemical treatment; however, to achieve maximum results, it is important to follow specific seeding rates typical for semi-leafless varieties to avoid excessive crop density.
