Description Lorenz
The hybrid sweet corn Lorenz (FAO 260) is a medium-maturing classic variety developed by Seed Grain Company. It is intended for cultivation both for silage and grain, making it a versatile solution for various agricultural tasks. Lorenz is characterized by high moisture shedding, good cold tolerance, and moderate drought resistance, ensuring a stable yield under different climatic conditions, including moderately humid and dry regions.

This hybrid is adapted to all modern agrotechnologies, including No-Till technology, and can be used as a monoculture. It requires minimal care for seedlings and allows the abandonment of the standard crop rotation due to its comprehensive resistance to corn diseases. The recommended planting start is at a soil temperature of +9 degrees, which promotes successful germination and plant development. Lorenz is characterized by high thousand-grain weight and stable yield, reaching potentially 160 centners per hectare.

To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to observe optimal planting density: for dry regions — 65,000–70,000 plants per hectare, for moderately humid regions — 75,000–85,000 plants per hectare. An important condition is adherence to harvesting dates, which contributes to maintaining the quality and quantity of the harvest. Seed batches are supplied from one planting unit, each containing 80,000 seeds, with delivery options via Nova Poshta or self-pickup from the warehouse.
