Gold 320

Gold 320 — a mid-early, plastic hybrid of sweet corn with high yield within its maturity group (FAO 320). This hybrid features strong leaf-stem biomass and a well-leafed stem of 280–300 cm height of the regenerative type, meaning it retains green stem at mature grain. The ear has a conical-cylindrical shape, 23–25 cm long, and is positioned at a height of 100–110 cm. The grain is of cream-toothed type, yellow in the upper part, with 1000-grain weight of 280–300 g.

Gold 320 has high resistance to lodging and tolerance to diseases, ensuring stable yield. The hybrid quickly releases moisture from the grain, facilitating harvesting and storage. Its strong root system promotes good plant development and adaptability to various growing conditions. Recommended planting density varies depending on the moisture zone: 65,000–70,000 plants per hectare in adequately moist zones and 75,000–85,000 plants per hectare in more humid conditions.

Gold 320 is adapted to various soil types and cultivation technologies, making it a versatile choice for farmers. The hybrid is suitable for both grain production and silage preparation. Yield ranges from 11.4 to 14.1 tons per hectare, confirming its high productivity and economic efficiency in cultivation.
