Corn sugar hybrid Magnato is a high-yielding, medium-early, three-line grain hybrid developed for intensive cultivation conditions. Plants feature a strong and tall structure, reaching heights of 280 to 330 cm, with broad leaves and sturdy stems, completely preventing lodging. The ear is fully filled, containing 14 to 16 rows of kernels, with 38 to 44 kernels per row, providing a total potential yield of up to 150 ц/ha. The 1000-kernel weight is 280-300 g, and the vegetative period lasts about 120 days. One of the key features of this hybrid is its high starch content in the kernels — 72% to 75% — making it particularly valuable for producing grit and other products requiring high-quality raw materials. Additionally, the plant has high starch content in its vegetative mass, broadening its application possibilities. Due to its adaptability, the variety is included in the State Register for the Central Chernozem, Middle Volga, and Lower Volga regions, confirming its resilience and productivity under various climatic conditions. The seed package contains 80,000 seeds, enabling efficient planning of sowing areas. The Austrian producer Saatbau guarantees high seed quality. The Magnato variety is responsive to intensive agronomic practices, which helps maximize its potential and ensures stable high yields of grain and vegetative mass.
