Corn Limoso

Austrian Genetics for Diverse Climates

The «Limozo» maize hybrid is a product of the Austrian breeding house SAATBAU LINZ eGen. Officially registered in Ukraine in 2023, this three-way hybrid was developed to meet the demands of modern agriculture, focusing on stability and yield consistency across varying environmental conditions.

Adaptability Across Regions

One of the standout features of Limozo is its broad adaptability. It is officially zoned for all major agricultural regions in Ukraine, including the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissya. This genetic plasticity allows the hybrid to perform reliably despite the climatic fluctuations that have become increasingly common in recent years.

Performance and Grain Quality

With an FAO rating of 300, Limozo falls into the mid-season category, efficiently utilizing the growing season to produce high-quality dent-type grain. A critical advantage for commercial growers is its rapid moisture dry-down rate. This trait significantly reduces the need for artificial grain drying, thereby lowering production costs and improving the overall profitability of the crop.
