Corn GW0739

Bulgarian Breeding for Diverse Climatic Zones

The GU0739 hybrid, introduced by Golden West Seed Bulgaria Ltd. in 2024, is designed to deliver consistent yields across Ukraine’s primary agricultural regions: the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissya. As an F1 hybrid, it integrates advanced European breeding techniques with high adaptability to local soil and weather conditions.

Crop Utility and Marketability

The primary focus for GU0739 is the versatility of the grain. With a dense endosperm and a balanced chemical profile, the harvest is highly valued for industrial processing. The grain exhibits high test weight, which is a critical metric for the milling and food processing industries.

• Processing and Consumption: The hybrid produces well-filled ears with uniform grain size, minimizing waste during primary cleaning and processing stages.
• Storage: Excellent dry-down characteristics reduce post-harvest drying costs, while strong resistance to lodging and pests ensures the crop remains in optimal condition until harvest time.
• Transportability: The robust grain structure allows it to withstand mechanical stress during loading and long-distance shipping, maintaining a premium appearance for export markets.

Choosing GU0739 represents a strategic investment in predictable performance, backed by its 2024 registration and the technical expertise of its Bulgarian originator.
