Corn LG31245

Field Performance: The Resilience of LG31245

Introduced by Limagrain Europe in 2023, the LG31245 hybrid represents a new standard for grain maize production. With an FAO rating of 240, this simple hybrid is engineered for high adaptability, performing reliably across diverse environments ranging from the arid Steppe to the humid Polissya regions of Ukraine.

Resilience and Agronomic Behavior

The core strength of LG31245 lies in its robust early-season vigor combined with exceptional stress tolerance. Its flint-dent grain type facilitates an ideal balance between grain filling and moisture dry-down, ensuring high-quality yields even when weather conditions are less than optimal.

• Drought Tolerance: The hybrid effectively manages water resources, maintaining productivity during high-temperature spells.
• Soil Adaptability: LG31245 shows consistent performance across various soil types, making it a versatile choice for diverse farming operations.
• Structural Integrity: High resistance to lodging ensures that the crop remains standing, allowing for efficient and low-loss harvesting.

Planting Density Recommendations

To maximize the yield potential of LG31245, it is essential to adjust plant populations based on local moisture availability:

• Under sufficient moisture conditions: 75,000 – 85,000 plants/ha.
• Under limited moisture conditions: 60,000 – 70,000 plants/ha.

LG31245 is a strategic choice for growers who prioritize consistency and proven European genetics in their maize production program.
