Corn BRV2770B

German breeding for intensive farming

The BRV2770B hybrid, registered in 2023, is a product of German breeding, specifically adapted to the needs of modern agriculture. As a simple hybrid with an FAO of 270, it occupies the mid-early maturity niche, allowing farmers to efficiently plan their harvest campaigns across diverse climatic conditions.

Technological potential and adaptability

The key feature of BRV2770B is its high responsiveness to intensive cultivation technologies. Unlike extensive varieties, this hybrid maximizes its genetic potential when optimal fertilizer application rates and high-quality crop protection are provided. The flint-dent grain type ensures a balance between moisture release speed and high grain test weight, which is critical for obtaining high-quality commercial yields.

Geography and application

The hybrid is officially recommended for cultivation in all key agro-climatic zones of Ukraine: the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissya. This wide range of adaptability makes it a versatile tool for farms with varying soil and climatic profiles. Its primary use is for grain production, which, combined with a moderate FAO, makes it a reliable choice for achieving stable total yields.
