Corn STARMAS

French breeding for stable grain production

The STARMAS hybrid from MAS SEEDS is a 2025 novelty focused on producing high-quality grain in the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissya regions. French F1 genetics ensure predictable results, allowing farmers to plan their harvest according to the strict requirements of the processing industry.

Grain quality and logistics

The primary purpose of STARMAS is commercial grain production. The hybrid demonstrates excellent threshing performance: the grain has a high test weight, which is critical for subsequent sale to grain elevators. Thanks to its mid-early maturity group, the crop manages to accumulate the necessary nutrients and reduce moisture to optimal levels before the onset of unfavorable autumn weather conditions.

• Transportability and storage: The dense grain structure minimizes losses during mechanical harvesting and subsequent transportation. High resistance to lodging and ear diseases ensures that the product's marketability remains high even during long-term storage in silos.
• Processing: STARMAS grain is ideal for animal feed production and the starch industry. Its stable chemical composition allows processors to achieve predictable yields of finished products, making this hybrid highly sought after in the market.

By choosing STARMAS, you are betting on European quality standards adapted to Ukrainian agro-climatic zones. It is a reliable tool for those who view corn as a highly profitable commercial crop.
