Corn LG31400

Field Performance and Adaptability

The French breeding expertise of Limagrain Europe is embodied in the LG31400 hybrid, which prioritizes stability under volatile climatic conditions. This F1 hybrid, scheduled for official market entry in Ukraine in 2026, demonstrates high tolerance to heat stress. In field conditions, the plant exhibits an excellent ability to self-regulate during moisture deficits, which is critical for regions prone to summer droughts.

Resistance to Pathogens and Lodging

The genetic potential of LG31400 is focused on minimizing yield loss risks. The hybrid possesses pronounced resistance to major corn diseases common in the European agricultural zone, including Fusarium and common smut. The stalk is characterized by high structural integrity, minimizing the risk of lodging even during late harvesting or under strong wind conditions. The root system is robust, ensuring efficient nutrient uptake from deep soil layers.

Cultivation Zones

Due to its plasticity, the hybrid is optimally suited for intensive cultivation technologies. It demonstrates predictable grain moisture dry-down during maturation, allowing farmers to optimize harvest logistics. LG31400 is the choice for those seeking a balance between high yield potential and reliability under stressful growing conditions.
