Corn BC180

Efficiency in Early Harvesting

The BC180 hybrid, developed by the Croatian Bc Institut, is a high-performance solution for producers focused on minimizing post-harvest processing costs. As an early-maturing hybrid (FAO 180), it reaches physiological maturity rapidly, allowing for early field clearance and reduced moisture content at harvest. This characteristic is essential for reducing drying costs and ensuring high-quality grain yields.

Grain Quality and Marketability

The flint-dent grain type of BC180 offers an ideal balance between hardness and processing versatility. Its standout feature is its rapid moisture loss during the maturation phase, which ensures that the grain arrives at the storage facility in optimal condition. This significantly improves the grain's shelf life and reduces the risk of spoilage.

• Market Appeal: Uniform grain size and high test weight ensure a premium appearance, making it highly desirable for commercial trade.
• Transportability: The robust grain structure minimizes breakage during mechanical harvesting and long-distance logistics.
• Processing: Its chemical composition makes it an excellent choice for the feed industry and starch production, providing consistent results for processors.

By combining early maturity with superior grain integrity, BC180 provides a reliable and profitable option for farmers looking to optimize their grain production for both domestic and export markets.
