Corn Bazuk

German Breeding for Commercial Production

The 'Bazuk' maize hybrid from the German company FarmSaat AG is the result of breeding focused on high-quality grain suitable for long-term storage and intensive processing. Registered in Ukraine in 2026, this F1 hybrid demonstrates the stability essential for agribusinesses focused on both export and the domestic processing industry.

Grain Quality and Processing

The primary purpose of 'Bazuk' is the production of commercial grain with superior physical and chemical properties. Due to its genetic traits, the kernel possesses high density, which minimizes losses during mechanical harvesting and subsequent transport. For processing plants, this translates into a high yield of finished products, whether for flour, grits, or animal feed production. The grain is characterized by uniformity, which simplifies calibration and cleaning processes at grain elevators.

Storage and Logistics

A key feature of this hybrid is its resistance to field pathogens, which directly impacts crop preservation. 'Bazuk' grain shows excellent shelf life when moisture levels are maintained, allowing farmers to hold stock until market prices peak without fear of quality degradation. High transportability is ensured by the robust structure of the kernel, which is resistant to fragmentation during port transshipment or long-distance road haulage.

Market Appearance

The visual characteristics of the cobs and kernels meet strict commercial quality standards. The grain features an attractive color and uniform shape, making it highly sought after in the food industry. The consistency of performance from batch to batch enables the establishment of long-term contracts with processors who require predictable raw material quality.
