Corn hybrid 'Lelka MV' is a high-yielding hybrid with FAO type 260, jointly developed by the Institute of Plant Growing named after V.Ya. Yuryev of NAAN and LLC 'Maïs'. This hybrid successfully passed trials and was registered in the Ukrainian plant variety registry in 2007. The plant reaches a height of 250–280 centimeters, has 16–17 leaves, and an ear located at a height of 90–95 centimeters, 25–26 centimeters long with a red cob. The kernels are tooth-shaped, with 16–18 rows, having a 1000-kernel mass of 280–290 grams and a grain yield of 84–86%. Grain moisture at harvest varies from 19 to 23%, and seeding density reaches 60–68 thousand plants per hectare depending on the region. Hybrid 'Lelka MV' has a high yield potential, reaching 13.0–14.0 tons per hectare, and is a leader in its maturity group. It exhibits high drought tolerance, ensuring stable yields under adverse conditions. Its rapid early growth and high cold resistance make this variety optimal for early planting at temperatures from 8 to 10°C, as well as for later planting up to 14°C, expanding its cultivation possibilities across various climatic zones. The main use of corn 'Lelka MV' is for grain and silage production. The plant contains 32–35% dry matter in green mass, 9.8–10.2% protein, and 74.6% starch, making it valuable for both feed and processing purposes. Due to its agronomic characteristics and quality composition, 'Lelka MV' is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality corn yields.
