Maize KWS OLTENIO

Sugarcane corn KWS OLTENIO is a remontant hybrid with FAO 330, developed for stable performance under various growing conditions. This hybrid is characterized by high drought resistance and very rapid water release, ensuring a reliable harvest even under insufficient moisture. The plants have erectoid leaf type and dent kernel type, which promotes effective growth and harvest.

The height of KWS OLTENIO plants is 270-280 cm, and the ear attachment height is 110-120 cm. The number of rows of kernels per ear reaches 16, with 37 to 40 kernels per row. The 1000-kernel weight varies between 320-350 grams, indicating large and high-quality kernels. The potential yield of this hybrid reaches 18 tons per hectare, making it an attractive choice for grain use.

The recommended plant density at harvest depends on the level of moisture: under adequate moisture — 70-80 thousand plants per hectare, under medium — 55-65 thousand, and under insufficient — 45-55 thousand.
