Maize KWS ARTURELLO

Stable grain yield with German genetics

Choosing a corn hybrid for grain requires a balance between yield potential and stress tolerance. KWS Arturello is a German-bred single-cross hybrid focused on maximizing marketable grain output. Thanks to its dent grain type, the hybrid offers excellent dry-down rates, which is critical for minimizing post-harvest drying costs.

Agronomic features and crop protection

With a maturity period of 160–180 days, this hybrid is characterized by high vegetative vigor. In field conditions, KWS Arturello shows impressive resistance to key pathogens that threaten corn crops:

• Helminthosporium leaf blight: high resistance to leaf infection;
• Fusarium ear rot: healthy ears at harvest;
• Common smut: reliable genetic protection.

These features allow agronomists to reduce fungicide application rates and minimize grain quality losses, even during seasons with high disease pressure.

Sowing density recommendations

To fully realize the hybrid's potential, it is essential to adjust the seeding rate based on your region's moisture availability:

• Under irrigation or in high-moisture zones: 70,000–75,000 plants/ha.
• In moderate moisture conditions: 55,000–60,000 plants/ha.
• In arid regions (steppe zones): 45,000–50,000 plants/ha.

KWS Arturello is an ideal choice for farms prioritizing professional corn production with a focus on stable yields across diverse climatic scenarios.
