KWS PROFUSIO — a high-yielding, plastic hybrid of sweet corn, with enhanced drought resistance and rapid early development. This hybrid is distinguished by its high yield potential, reaching up to 20 tons of grain per hectare, making it effective for cultivation in various climatic zones with different moisture levels. The plants are compact with an erectoid habit, which promotes optimal space utilization and facilitates crop management.
Morphological characteristics of the hybrid include plant height ranging from 270 to 280 cm and ear attachment height of 110-120 cm. The ears have 16 rows of kernels, with 38 to 42 kernels per row. The 1000-kernel weight varies between 330-360 grams. The kernel type is dent, which ensures rapid moisture release and contributes to high-quality grain maturation.
Sowing density recommendations depend on soil moisture levels: under adequate moisture, optimal density is 70-80 thousand plants per hectare; under moderate levels — 55-65 thousand; and under insufficient moisture — 45-55 thousand per hectare. This approach allows maximum adaptation of the hybrid to specific conditions and ensures a stable high yield.
