Maize RGT ALYXX DUO

Consistent Yields with Minimal Risk

When working with the RAGT RGT Alixx DUO hybrid, you immediately notice its reliability. This is a classic simple hybrid with dent grain, specifically bred in France for high-quality grain production. One of the biggest challenges for any farmer is Fusarium, but this hybrid shows remarkable resistance, which significantly simplifies agronomic management and provides peace of mind during the ear-filling stage.

Operational Insights

Based on experience with its FAO 90–1240 rating, the hybrid is highly adaptable in terms of planting density. The manufacturer provides clear guidelines: in fields with sufficient moisture, you can confidently target 70,000–75,000 plants/ha, while in more stressful or arid conditions, you can reduce to 45,000–50,000 plants/ha. This flexibility allows for precise density control based on soil conditions.

• Excellent grain moisture dry-down at maturity, which lowers post-harvest drying costs.
• The dent grain structure ensures a high yield per hectare during harvesting.
• Strong resistance to Fusarium protects the harvest quality, directly impacting the final market value.

If you are looking for a hybrid for intensive production that prioritizes consistent yield and stability, RGT Alixx DUO delivers on its promises. It is a workhorse from RAGT that requires adherence to standard agronomic practices but rewards you with a high-quality product without unexpected complications.
