KWS AKUSTIKA — this is a mid-late dent corn hybrid selection by KWS, specifically developed for cultivation in dry and extensive conditions. It is characterized by high yield, reaching a potential of up to 15 tons of grain per hectare, making it an optimal choice for regions with low to medium levels of moisture. The hybrid has a strong root system and robust stalk, ensuring high resistance to lodging and stable yield even under adverse weather conditions. Morphological characteristics of KWS AKUSTIKA corn include plant height of 250 to 280 cm and ear attachment height of 100–120 cm. Ears have 16–18 rows of kernels, with 30–32 kernels per row, and 1000-kernel weight of 280–300 grams. The plant’s remontant type with erectoid leaf type promotes efficient use of water and nutrients, further enhancing yield and grain quality. Recommended plant density varies depending on soil moisture level: 70–80 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, 50–60 thousand under medium moisture, and 45–50 thousand under low moisture. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones, demonstrating stable performance under various climatic conditions. Seed packaging contains 50 thousand seeds, convenient for planning planting operations.
