Korifei

Coryphee corn is a simple mid-early maturity hybrid with a FAO index of 250, developed by MAIS from Dnipro, one of the leaders in Ukrainian seed industry. The hybrid is registered in the State Register of Ukraine since 2020 and is characterized by high yield potential, reaching 91 to 132 centners per hectare depending on the growing region. Coryphee is recommended for cultivation in steppe, forest-steppe and Polissia regions, where it demonstrates resistance to stress conditions including drought, late frosts and other adverse factors.

Coryphee corn plants reach an average height of about 260-270 cm, with ears attached at a height of 85-100 cm. The ears have a conical-cylindrical shape with 14-16 rows of kernels, each being toothed or silica-covered, with a 1000-kernel weight ranging from 280-300 g. The overall vegetation period lasts 111-112 days, providing a balance between early maturity and high yield. The hybrid is characterized by high initial growth energy, good germination and rapid moisture release, facilitating harvest and crop processing.

Coryphee is tolerant to lodging and resistant to most corn diseases, including smut, gummy rot and stalk rot, as well as being less sensitive to pests and weeds. Recommended planting density varies by region: from 40-55 thousand plants per hectare in steppe areas to 80-90 thousand in Polissia. The hybrid is suitable for both intensive and minimal technology cultivation, making it a versatile choice for various agronomic systems. Due to its accessible price and stable yield, Coryphee is a profitable solution for agricultural enterprises aiming for efficient and sustainable production.
