Reputation SV is a hybrid maize, presented by two main varieties: Kremny 200 SV and Dneprovsky 257 SV, each possessing unique characteristics and advantages. Kremny 200 SV is a tri-lineal medium-maturing, starchy hybrid with FAO 210, widely used for food purposes, including the production of sticks, flakes, and maize flour. This hybrid is recommended for cultivation in steppe, forest-steppe zones, and the Polissia region of Ukraine, and is also registered in Russia and Belarus. Plant height reaches 250-270 cm, with approximately 15 leaves on the main stem, cylindrical ears up to 23-24 cm long with a white core and 12-14 rows of kernels. Kernels are yellow, round, almost starchy, characterized by high kernel density and low moisture content at harvest.
Kremny 200 SV is characterized by high resistance to common diseases such as stalk rot and powdery mildew, as well as to major pests. The hybrid tolerates high temperatures and low temperatures well, is resistant to lodging and stem breakage. It demonstrates high and stable yields with potential up to 12-12.5 t/ha, dries quickly after maturation, and exhibits profitable seed production, making it economically advantageous for cultivation on hybridization plots.
Dneprovsky 257 SV is a simple modified medium-maturing hybrid with FAO 290, developed by NAAN of Ukraine. It has a strong root system, high initial growth rates, and is adapted to various growing conditions, including dense plantings. Plant height is 200-210 cm, ears approximately 20 cm long with 36-40 kernels per row, toothed yellow-orange kernels weighing 280-300 g per 1000 kernels. The hybrid is characterized by high drought resistance, disease and pest resistance, as well as good response to mineral fertilizer application and improved agrofond. Grain yield potential reaches 120-125 c/ha, and silage mass potential — 580-630 c/ha, making it versatile for use both as grain and silage across all regions of Ukraine.
