Maize Kornadi CS

Proven Grain Productivity

The French three-way hybrid Kornadi KS by Caussade Semences is designed for commercial grain production, offering a perfect balance between yield stability and environmental adaptability. This hybrid is a preferred choice for farmers looking to minimize risk in diverse growing seasons.

Disease Resistance and Field Health

One of the strongest attributes of the Kornadi KS is its robust genetic profile, providing inherent resistance to a wide range of common threats. By integrating this hybrid into your crop rotation, you can significantly reduce the need for intensive fungicide applications, as it demonstrates strong tolerance to:

• Verticillium wilt and Sclerotinia;
• Phomopsis and Phoma;
• Fusarium and Helminthosporium blight.

The flint-dent grain type ensures excellent grain quality and favorable dry-down rates at maturity, simplifying harvest operations and lowering post-harvest drying costs.

Cultivation Strategy

To maximize the genetic potential of Kornadi KS, the originators (Caussade Semences and Lidea France) recommend a final plant population of 75,000 to 80,000 plants per hectare. When grown at these densities, the hybrid forms a uniform, high-quality ear. It performs reliably under intensive management practices, making it an efficient choice for commercial grain farms that prioritize consistency and reliable field performance.
