Corioli CS

Corioli CS is a high-quality corn hybrid designed for cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Forest Steppe, Steppe, and Polesie. Plants reach a height of about 260 cm with ear attachment at 110 cm, providing ease of harvest due to its flexible stalk. The hybrid exhibits high disease tolerance, contributing to stable and high yields even under stress conditions. Seeds have a 1000-seed mass of approximately 300 grams and are characterized by a medium-early maturity (FAO 290) with a dent kernel type, suitable for both grain and silage production. Corioli CS shows high adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions, confirmed by its resistance to cold, drought, root and stalk rot, as well as rust. Rapid early growth and efficient moisture release from kernels during ripening ensure optimal agronomic performance. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture levels: 85–90 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture, down to 70–75 thousand under insufficient moisture. Sowing should be conducted at early dates when soil temperature is +6...8°C, at the depth required for seed burial, promoting uniform and strong emergence. For seed protection and enhanced disease resistance, it is recommended to use the fungicide Corriolius, containing the active ingredient triticonazole at a concentration of 200 g/L. The product is applied for pre-sowing seed treatment and provides protection against a broad spectrum of diseases, including rust, rot, septoria, mold, rust, dew, and sporotrichosis, without reducing germination rate. During the 3-5 leaf stage, it is recommended to apply fertilizer and post-emergence herbicides and insecticides based on imidacloprid and lambda-cyhalothrin for effective weed and pest control, ensuring high-quality and high-yield harvests.
