SAT 270 MV

SAT 270 MV — mid-early maize hybrid with FAO 270, intended for grain production. This hybrid is characterized by dent kernel type and high potential yield ranging from 11.2 to 14.0 tons per hectare. Seeds are supplied in packages of 70-80 thousand and pre-treated with fungicides and insecticides, providing protection for plants during early growth stages.

The hybrid exhibits vigorous growth, with grain maturing on green stalks and leaves. SAT 270 MV has high stress tolerance (8 points), excellent lodging resistance (9 points), good drought tolerance (8 points), and high cold tolerance (9 points). Thanks to these qualities, the hybrid adapts well to various soil conditions, nutrient levels, and rainfall amounts, making it a reliable choice for different climatic zones.

A distinctive feature of this hybrid is its plasticity and ability to develop two ears when stem density is insufficient, as well as large and thick ears with deeply set kernels, which contributes to higher yield, especially under dense planting and favorable weather conditions. The recommended plant density at harvest is 65-70 thousand per hectare, which is optimal for achieving maximum productivity.
