Description Hybrid 427
Corn hybrid 'Kadr' is a mid-season trihybrid of Ukrainian selection, registered in the State Register since 2001. This variety is suitable for cultivation both for grain and silage, making it a versatile choice for various agronomic purposes. 'Kadr' is successfully grown in steppe, forest-steppe zones and in the Polissya region, demonstrating high yields — up to 12-13 tons of grain and 45-60 tons of silage per hectare.

Corn plants of the 'Kadr' variety reach a height of 220-230 cm, have a weak bushy type, which ensures resistance to lodging and damage under adverse weather conditions. The main stem forms up to 16 leaves, and the cylindrical ear, 18-23 cm long, is positioned at a height of about 75-90 cm. The kernels have a yellow dent type, well-filled, with a 1000-kernel weight of 230-260 g. The hybrid is characterized by good plant uniformity in height and simultaneous development phases, which simplifies care and harvest.

The 'Kadr' variety has moderate drought resistance and high resistance to major corn diseases and pests. The recommended planting density on commercial fields is 50-55 thousand plants per hectare, which helps maximize yield potential. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, corn 'Kadr' is a reliable choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality yield of both grain and silage.
